In our own words…
Brownes Bar in Nottingham is one of the large group of bars in the Goose Gate/ Hockley area, and a short walk away from one of two Nottingham Revolution Bars. The theme is comfortable drinking in a trendy enviornment with plenty of seating. Thanks to this, Brownes is a venue you can easily spend all evening in, as one stop of many or as a pre-club bar.
It is worth noting that large groups of men will struggle to get in, and the advice is to break up in to smaller groups and stagger your entry.

Theres a god restaurant opposite here too, went there first then in to Brownes for a few drinks after. Good night
this is good for going with friends and stuff. Not an award winner fair enough, still a good un tho :)
Just a very average bar, there are plenty better and plenty worse in Nottingham. Worth going in if youre nearby but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there
Its a bit hit and miss with how busy its going to be, and sometimes it can feel a bit dead. If we go in to Hockley area we alwsy go here though and then on to Revolution, and maybe the coco lounge.
