Always seem to end up here, either at the start or towards the end of the night. Its alwasy pretty easy to get served with out having to wrestle ina scrum at the bar which I like and its got enough going to create a good atmosphere.

- Perfect for a first date, a guy took me here once and it was really nice. The food was lovely and the service was good. We went out on the rooftop for some drinks which ended the night perfectly. Oh, and the cocktails were great too! :) Most recommended!

i never left this place in the lat 80s when a student at trent- never had a bad night in it yet. basic sawdust and spit ingredient never failed and never any trouble in it no matter how much drink taken – a gem - Pit & Pendulum
I was close to walking straight out when we went in but its a decent place for a couple of drinks as a stop off - Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem

This is one of my favourite bars in all of Nottingham. The roof top bar is the obvious thing to mention (and it is great in the summer) but what i really like is thata it is never so busy you feel you are being shoe horned in. It is full enough to have an atmosphere but not so full I can’t move or I am being knocked about. Always at the top of my list on a night out.
Also, the restaurant’s food is good as well, not as god as they think (or charge) but good for taking the other half out and then grabbing a drink afterwards
