“Part of the national J D Wetherspoon chain of pubs, this is in a great location just off the City’s market square. Only a short walk away from numerous others bars and pubs, the cheap drinks and food are a magnet for many drinkers.
With little or no door policy in place, no matter what you are wearing or how many of you there are, a few cheap drinks here are always on the cards.
Not a venue to stay for too long, but a good choice to get warmed up.”

Weatherspoons have gone down hill! Infact i’m not sure if it was ever ‘up there’?
You know what you’re going to get with JD, cheap lager, v average food at an OK price and a sticky carpet. If you expect anymore you’ll hate it, if you know what it is about, its a good place to have a few.
