Prices for drinks are good here and the place always seems to have the right amount of people in it, never too packed or empty.

  i never left this place in the lat 80s when a student at trent- never had a bad night in it yet. basic sawdust and spit ingredient never failed and never any trouble in it no matter how much drink taken – a gem

  Its got some good ales, and perfect for a family during the day. Foods ok too

  Those are some serious ques! I’d def recommend getting there 11pm ish, any later and its a long wait in the cold!!

  Theres a god restaurant opposite here too, went there first then in to Brownes for a few drinks after. Good night
