The Malt Cross is situated just off the Old Market Square in Nottingham City Centre.  It is a Grade II listed building which used to be a Victorian Music Hall, built in 1877.

Today it is a charitable cafe bar serving real ales, continental lagers, wines and whisky.  Not to mention the hot drinks such as coffee, tea and their famous creamy malteaser hot chocolate.  The atmosphere is laid back with the decor keeping up with its history, a Victorian surrounding.

The Malt Cross hosts a varied choice of events; In 2003, The Malt Cross inherited a lottery fund which opened up the underground caves as well as joining up the many floor levels we see today.  Also, every Tuesday The Malt Cross hosts a live band, so come along and enjoy a drink, good music in a historic setting.
